This is Halloween
NotOnlyDolls
A few days ago was Halloween's night, and I think it’s probably one of my favorite holidays of the whole year. Rooted in Celtic tradition—Samhain, which marks the beginning of winter—it’s especially meaningful to me because of its cyclical and renewing nature.
It’s been a while since I’ve been active on NotOnlyDolls; the last decade has been really tough for me, although the past two years—even though they’ve been marked by illness—have been the happiest of my life. I’m looking forward to sharing everything I have in mind and have prepared to work on over the coming months, as well as telling you about my latest health struggles and the creative and personal challenges I face every day.
Life is but a fleeting moment, and not spending it on what makes you happy and with the people you love is a waste of time. I’ve learned so much lately and have managed to surround myself with incredible people whose creative and vital energy is overwhelming. My hope is that what I have to share with you will resonate with you or, at the very least, give you something to reflect on for a moment.
Thanks for stopping by, and until the next post—for now, we’re launching the new website I’ve built. I hope you enjoy it :)
